Inspection Pit, Jagelo Haulage, Bury St Edmunds.

Jagelo Haulage needed a workshop - When Jagelo Haulage of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, contacted us for an Inspection Pit we didn't realise just how much of a challenge we had on our hands?? An ancient barn was the proposed new workshop location where they could carry out necessary repairs for their fleet.
The barn was ancient and the foundations when it was built were minimal so digging down two metres inside the building would certainly weaken everything including the foundations.
Rather than leave the recess open risking the possibility of subsidence we had the inspection on site so we could lower it into position immediately.
A wise decision as everything went without a hitch.
The pit was positioned.
And levelled before making the first pour.
Two more concrete pours brought the concrete to finished floor level.
Floor levels were made concrete poured and screeded and left to cure.
Floor paints were applied and the interior of the building decorated.
A fine looking workshop utilising the existing building on the premises.
