Then along came the ‘tilt-back’ model, faster to use, kinder to alloy rims, and generally stronger due to its design that replaced the vertical swivel pin with a horizontal pivot pin. Move on a few decades and theres "Par-Move" design. Par-Move uses a fixed, cylindrical main column, eliminating altogether the pivot pin and tilting mechanism used in traditional tilt-back machines.
